Creating the Future: Embracing Possibility

“We, the people of the United States, the most powerful nation on this planet, have the honor and privilege to lead our nation - and set an example for the world. We must lead with all of the grace, power and ingenuity that fully expresses our faith in Democracy and the infinite creativity and compassion of the community of people that we are; united as a nation, secure in our defenses, standing for global peace and abundance for all, embracing possibility and daring to try.”        -- Charles Rehn June 14, 2003

The time has come. The choice is before us.
The possibility is ours to embrace.

Please join me as I formally announce my campaign for the
2004 Democratic Presidential Nomination.

Come to the Town Hall Meeting

Saturday, July 5, 2003   2 pm
Quaker Meeting House
219 B Street, Tumwater, Wa.

(Traveling South, take the 2nd Street Exit, then go south 4 blocks)
I’ll enjoy talking to you about why I’m running, my thoughts on the issues, and I look forward to hearing what you have to say about life, the direction of this country, and things you believe deserve greater attention.

The United States, and the world, is at a crossroads of diverse and immediate priorities. Homeland Security, the war on terror, energy, the environment, poverty, health care, education, retirement programs, free trade, safe water, human, civil and reproductive rights and so many more issues that will significantly affect the quality of our lives, the futures of our nation’s children and many generations to come.
